These are original campaign pins in wearable condition from John F. Kennedy's first and only presidential run in 1960. He ultimately defeated his Republican rival Richard Nixon with a slim majority, in part due to his smooth and charismatic demeanor during the nation's first televised presidential debates. Each pin includes a Certificate of Authenticity.

As one of the most influential figures in mid-20th century politics, John F. Kennedy had a short but impactful term as U.S. president. Kennedy was born in Massachusetts to a family with a long history of public service. As a young adult, Kennedy attended Harvard University before joining the Navy as a PT boat commander during World War II. He went on to serve in both houses of the United States Congress before being elected president. Kennedy spent his time in office leading the U.S. through many noteworthy crises of the Cold War, until he was tragically assassinated in 1963.
