Item Description:

 The Cincinnati Union Stock Yard was a meatpacking company located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dubbed "Porkopolis," Cincinnati served as the meat processing center of the U.S. during the mid to late 1800's. The industry persisted as an important part of the local economy for over a hundred years and the Cincinnati Stockyards remained in operation until the 1980's.

These particular stock certificates were issued in the 1880's.
