  • Notes: This coin was struck to commemorate the 25th year since the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the 60th year since his birth. It was minted during the last year of Claudius’ reign and the first year of Nero’s reign. Claudius issued an edict in 49 CE which kicked the Jews out of Rome and Jerusalem because of their persecution of the Christians.
