Background Info:

The United War Work Campaign was a one-week fundraising drive, taking place between November 11 and 18, 1918, aimed at providing support to U.S. soldiers during the demobilization process after World War I. President Woodrow Wilson encouraged aid organizations to join forces on a single campaign to improve soldier morale, regardless of race or religion. Seven organizations participated in the campaign, including the YMCA, YWCA, American Library Association, War Camp Community Service, National Catholic War Council, Jewish Welfare Board, and Salvation Army. It was the largest fundraising effort in history, raising over $203 million for programs to aid American soldiers.

A signed Certificate of Authenticity will accompany your purchase. You will receive the exact item shown in the photos above. A display case is also included.
