Origin: These ~1,800 year old bronze coins (or nummi) were all struck under the reign of the Constantinian Dynasty, the ruling family of the Roman Empire from Emperor Constantius Chlorus (293 AD) to Julian (363 AD). The most famous emperor from this era was Constantine I, also known as Constantine the Great, notable for being the first Roman emperor to convert to Christianity.
We offer coins of Constantine the Great and his sons Constantine II, Constantius II, and Constans—all have been thoroughly inspected for authenticity by an ANA Certified numismatist.

There's more to Rome than wars and emperors.
These bronze coins were minted over 1,600 years ago, around the era of Constantine the Great and his successors.
But really, that isn't even the interesting part.
The actual stories of these coins are truly exciting—they were used by real ancient people, from farmers, to bakers, to legionnaires.
A day's labor was worth about 360 of them on average. It seems like a lot, but groceries were pricey in ancient Rome—that amount could only buy about three loaves of bread.
These coins were plentiful back then, but you can be one of the lucky few that owns one today. Each coin comes with a custom glass and leather case, to display your one-of-a-kind artifact.
Your order will include:
- One Roman bronze nummus from the reign of the emperor you choose.
- Glass top leather display box
- Detail card with relevant information about the relic
- Certificate of Authenticity
